Each neighborhood within St. Charles belongs to a larger Village, with each neighborhood and Village intended to have its own homeowners association. The Village Association acts as the "umbrella" association over multiple Neighborhood homeowners associations. Each neighborhood association is intended to have its own architectural review committee, while each village association has its own Planning and Design Review Board (PDRB). The applicable PDRB and architectural review process vary from neighborhood to neighborhood and village to village, and the PDRB meeting dates also vary for each Village.
